In the last 24 hours, 6,204 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported. Another 175 Romanians died after being infected with coronavirus. 1,405 COVID patients are hospitalized in intensive care, a new record since the start of the pandemic.

To date, on March 30, in Romania, 946,647 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed.

845,357 patients were declared cured.

After tests conducted at the national level, compared to the last report, 6,204 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, cases that had not previously had a positive test.

The coefficient of accumulated infections at 14 days, reported per 1,000 inhabitants, is calculated by the Public Health Directorates, at the municipal and county levels of Bucharest. Below is the table prepared based on the reports received by CNCCI from the Public Health Directorates:

To date, 23,409 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.

Between 29.03.2021 (10:00) – 30.03.2021 (10:00) 175 deaths were reported (104 men and 71 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Argeș, Bacău, Bihor. , Bistrița-Năsăud, Botoșani, Brăila, Brașov, Buzău, Călărași, Caraș-Severin, Cluj, Constanța, Dâmbovița, Dolj, Galați, Gorj, Harghita, Hunedoara, Iași, Maramureș, Satju, Oltăiă, Maramureș, Satju, Oltăiău, Timava , Tulcea, Vaslui, Vrancea, Ilfov and Bucharest.

Of these, 3 deaths were recorded in the age category 30 to 39 years, 7 deaths in the age category 40 to 49 years, 12 deaths in the age category 50 to 59 years, 51 deaths in the age category of age 60 to 69 years, 59 deaths in the age group 70 to 79 years and 43 deaths in the category of over 80 years.

170 of the registered deaths are from some patients who presented comorbidities, 3 deceased patients did not present comorbidities and for 2 deceased patients, no comorbidities have been reported so far.

In health units, the total number of people hospitalized for COVID-19 is 13,257. Of these, 1,405 are hospitalized in ATI.

To date, 6,685,665 RT-PCR tests and 591,149 rapid antigen tests have been processed nationwide. In the last 24 hours, 27,234 RT-PCR tests were performed (17,254 based on case definition and medical protocol and 9,980 on request) and 13,153 rapid antigen tests.

In Romania, 69,601 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are isolated at home and 16,514 people are in institutional isolation. Additionally, 50,589 people are in home quarantine and 105 people are in institutionalized quarantine.

In the last 24 hours, 6,260 calls have been registered to the single emergency number 112 and 907 of the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened especially to inform the public.

As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law No. 55/2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, on March 29, 7,016 sanctions for minor offenses, in the amount of 1,616,333 lei.

Likewise, through the competent structures of the Police, yesterday a criminal record was prepared to frustrate the fight against diseases, a fact foreseen and sanctioned by art. 352 Penal Code.

We remind the public that the Ministry of the Interior has put into operation, as of 04/07/2020, a TELVERDE line (0800800165) where violations of health protection regulations can be notified.

The calls are answered by a dispatcher, in an integrated system, and distributed to the territorial structures for the verification of the notified issues.

Of the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus infection, 798 were declared cured: 677 in Germany, 90 in Greece, 18 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg, one in Tunisia and one in Argentine.
