All hospitals in Romania must prepare to receive COVID-19 patients, Health Minister Nelu Tătaru said on Thursday. He said that all medical units should allocate 10% of intensive care beds and 15% of other places for coronavirus-infected patients. Tataru also announced that starting next week, patients with mild and moderate forms of COVID-19 and asymptomatic patients will remain at home, under the supervision of family doctors.
He appreciated that these are third-phase hospitals, county and municipal hospitals, which do not enter the treatment of COVID hospitals, and that they must allocate 10% of intensive care beds and 15% of other places.
