Maia Sandu, the target of the information war

The ink on the voting stamps used in the Republic of Moldova in the first round, which Maia Sandu had become the target of the information war, had not dried well either. Thousands of messages, comments, publications in which they accused her of not being a friend of Romania invaded the online environment. Fewer were from bona fide authors who entered the shock wave of clever puppeteers, others from symbiotic villains or miserable volunteers.

The smear campaign of Maia Sandu, the speculation of small communication errors caused by the terrible pressure that both she and the campaign team went through have the role of transforming the Prut into a border of identity, of inventing faults between the two . state. I understand why: a problem that had been the subject of jokes in the Kremlin in previous elections became the cover of a serious case.

For what danger is greater for the moth-eaten bear in the east than the consolidation of the Euro-Atlantic leadership of the Republic of Moldova? After Deveselu’s shield, which killed his neurons, although defensive, a democratic bridgehead on the coasts gave the Russians a firm azimuth: demolish Maia, viralize the connection with Romania, divide the pro-European!

The attack on the president-elect is the best proof that the brothers throughout the Prut were not wrong. But despite those who went through the fence with the stick, the road was paved, the Moldovan Romanians formed the critical mass and spoke: objectively, Europe!

Tough months are approaching, because Parliament is hostile to Ms. Sandu, being dominated by the Socialist Party and the political-satellite forces. But he has an ally: honest citizens, who did not forgive Igor Dodon for calling the electorate in the Diaspora (that is, their families !!) a “parallel” To what extent will Sunday’s victory be repeated in case of elections ? Early parliamentary elections, it is difficult to say, but not impossible.

However, it is to be hoped that the pro-European forces will see beyond pride, as a strong alliance can seize the opportunity. Now it has been opened and I have the feeling that if it is not used it will be closed after a turbulent period for the Republic of Moldova.

It’s now or never”!
Far be it from me to give lessons to fellow politicians. I speak only from my experience as a journalist and young politician, which showed me that the fragmentation of the healthy electorate can have serious consequences for the country. Their lords know it too. The Republic of Moldova is going through an astral moment and should not be missed.
I believe that Maia Sandu’s determination to bring justice to the Plahotniuc, Dodon & Co sign is real. Without an independent judiciary, without magistrates who are not intimidated, blackmailed, terrified, the aid that will come from the European Union will be suspended again, as has happened before.

And voters want justice, not corruption! They want a future! The Moldovan brothers understood that “a country like abroad” is possible, but that means getting closer to Romania, the EU and NATO. The first step has been taken. Congratulations, our dear Maia!
