Prime Minister Ludovic Orban said Moldova will benefit from three highways in the next 10 years, two of which will cross Neamt County. In addition, counties in this region will benefit from other significant government investments., informs Agerpres.

“A company that invests in a locality needs simple things: access to water, sewerage, gas, electricity and transportation. Precisely these things should be done by Moldova, to ensure Moldova’s connection with the entire European transport infrastructure, and for each locality to ensure these minimum elements of civilization: water, sewerage, gas, electricity, asphalt and to attract investment. Moldova will be the net beneficiary of the investments of the Government that I lead, in the next 10 years ”, said Orban.

The president of the PNL showed which will be the three roads built in Moldova in the next 10 years “or even in 8 years”.

“Moldova does not have a highway today. Moldova will have, I hope, at the end of 10 years or even in 8 years, three roads: the highway in the 9th pan-European corridor Bucharest – Siret, the highway Unirii Târgu Mureş – Tîrgu Neamţ – Iaşi – Ungheni and the Bacău – Braşov highway.

The prime minister said that “these are not stories, but investment objectives for which we currently have a 75% financing guarantee and we will find money to secure their full financing. The county of Neamţ will be crossed by two roads: the north-south axis, but also the Unirii highway. There are fundamental investment objectives that will ensure all development opportunities here and ensure that investments will cross the Carpathians. ”
