Teleorman (16.94%), Olt (16.60%), Giurgiu (16.32%) and Mehedinti (15.46%).

The counties with the lowest participation are:

Covasna (8.27%), Harghita (8.62), Bucharest and Iasi (9.24%)

2020 Local Elections. Today you are expected to elect your Mayor, CJ President, Local and County Councilors for the next four years. You are one of 19,004,089 citizens with the right to vote. In total, there are more than 43,000 elected positions.

In Romania, local elections are organized on Sunday, September 27, 2020, after the election of the mandate was postponed in June, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
