“No patient in the custody of Bucharest-Jilava Hospital-Penitentiary requires intensive medical care, the hospital-penitentiary unit provides specific therapeutic conduct for mild and moderate forms of the COVID19 disease. In the same registry, we highlight that the health status of all patients positively confirmed with SARS-CoV-2 is stable and there were no changes that require external medical support ”, transmitted the ANP.

Former PSD Secretary General Codrin Ştefănescu, a close friend of the former PSD leader, sent a message on Thursday warning that Dragnea’s life would be in danger.

“I inform you that Liviu Dragnea’s health has deteriorated! Suddenly! When he was transferred to the Jilava prison hospital, he was asymptomatic. So he called me and I informed everyone! We have not been able to contact him for 2 days and the who are there refuse to give explanations to the family, the lawyer or the press. I will keep you informed when we know the details “, transmits Codrin Ştefănescu.

The ANP also explained why it did not provide information to Codrin Ştefănescu: “confidential information (information about the patient’s condition, research results, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, personal data) can only be provided if the patient gives his explicit consent or if the law expressly requires it ”.

Former PSD leader Liviu Dragnea was confirmed with Covid-19 and transferred to the Jilava Penitentiary Hospital.
