Several hundred people participated on Saturday, in the University Square, in a protest against the masks, chanting Freedom and with a sign that says “Governments kill more than Covid.
The participants, some with children, criticize the measures taken by the authorities.
The protesters have tricolor flags, most do not wear masks and do not respect social distance.
They demanded that the measures imposed by the government be abandoned and chanted “Freedom”, “What a shame, what a shame” and “Our children are not their guinea pigs,” reports Agerpres.
Several crews of gendarmes are present at the scene.
The protest appears to be organized by the Orthodox Brotherhood of the Holy Great Martyr Jorge, an ultra-Orthodox group.
