The towns and villages belonging around Bucharest are closed one by one. On Friday night, Chiajna and Bragadiru were quarantined, and Clinceni and Berceni the night before. Another six locations are in the approval process and will be quarantined Saturday night. The final decision will be made today by the Emergency Department.
Ciorogarla, Clinceni, Berceni, Chiajna and Bragadiru are the towns in Ilfov County that are already under quarantine, and as of this afternoon in six other communes and cities the same restrictions would be imposed. These are Otopeni, Mogoșoaia, Corbeanca, Dobroești, Măgurele, and Popești-Leordeni.
Each one of them has an incidence rate per thousand inhabitants over 9. At the county level, the index is 7.89.
From index 9 there are almost six more towns, according to figures released by the authorities on Friday: Buftea – 8.75, Buftea – 8.75, Cornetu – 8.31, December 1 – 8.75, Domnești – 8.47 , Snagov 8.28 and Voluntari – 8.43.
It remains to be seen after today’s release of the balance sheet how the cumulative incidence of cases will fluctuate.
