The list of countries and territories with high epidemiological risk of coronavirus came into effect on Wednesday, so those who come from these areas must enter a 14-day quarantine at home or another place they must declare.

People arriving in Romania from countries / areas of high epidemiological risk are exempt if they remain in the national territory for a period of less than 3 days (72 hours) and present a negative test for SARS-CoV-2, carried out for a maximum of 48 hours before entering the national territory.

People arriving in Romania from countries / areas of high epidemiological risk and entering quarantine for a period of 14 days, can come out of quarantine after the 10th day, if they perform a test for SARS-CoV-2 on the 8th day of quarantine, and his result is negative and does not present specific symptoms

The countries in the yellow list are: Israel, Andorra, Montenegro, Bahrain, Aruba, Argentina, Guam, Bonaire, Saint Eustatius and Saba, Spain, Czech Republic, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Republic of Moldova, France, Netherlands , Gibraltar, French Polynesia, Saint Martin, Lebanon, Belgium, Panama, Cape Verde, United States, Peru, Kuwait, Colombia, Brazil, Armenia, United Kingdom, Iceland, Oman, Iraq, Maldives, Paraguay, Luxembourg, Belize, United Arab Emirates States, Palestine, Denmark, Libya, Hungary, Chile, Slovakia, Ukraine, Austria, Curaçao, Georgia and Qatar.

The list was decided at Monday’s meeting of the National Committee for Emergency Situations and came into effect on 10/07/2020 at 0:00, depending on the cumulative incidence rate of coronavirus cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
