Lewis Hamilton won the Eifel Grand Prix at Nurburgring

The 35-year-old Briton claimed his first victory at this circuit at the Nurburgring, where Schumacher holds the record for victories, five.

Hamilton is the only driver in history to have won in each of the 14 seasons he competed.

The Mewrcedes driver has a chance to match Michael Schumacher in the number of world titles. Hamilton has six and Schumacher has seven.

UPDATE Round 60 (last): Max Verstappen (Red Bull) set a last lap record, overtaking Hamilton at the ends and took the bonus point. Hamilton wins the race and gets his seventh win of the season. It is for the first time this season that the Briton wins without having left pole. For Hamilton, this is the first victory at the Nurburgring.
