On Friday, President Klaus Iohannis signed the impeachment decrees of 12 Romanian ambassadors, including those from Russia, Turkey, Hungary, the Netherlands and Iraq. According to some political sources, the 12 are fired as ambassadors.
The President of Romania, Mr. Klaus Iohannis, signed the following decrees on Friday, September 11 of this year:
• Decree on the dismissal of Mr. Gabriel-Cătălin Șopandă as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania in the Republic of Turkey;
• Decree on the dismissal of Mr. Iacob Prada as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania in the Republic of Iraq;
• Decree on the dismissal of Mr. Victor Mircea as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania in the Lebanese Republic;
• Decree on the dismissal of Mr. Marius-Gabriel Lazurca as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania in Hungary;
• Decree of dismissal of Ms. Carmen-Liliana Podgorean as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Romania to the Argentine Republic and the Republic of Paraguay;
• Ms. Nineta Bărbulescu is remembered as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Romania to Australia, New Zealand, the Republic of Kiribati, the Republic of Fiji, the Solomon Islands, the Republic of Vanuatu, the Independent State of Samoa, Tuvalu and the Republic of Nauru;
• Decree on the dismissal of Ms Brîndșa Ioana Predescu as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania in the Kingdom of the Netherlands (Netherlands);
• Decree on the dismissal of Mr. Răzvan Rotundu as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania in the Republic of Finland;
• Decree on the dismissal of Mr. Constantin Volodea Nistor as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania in Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam;
• Decree of dismissal of Mr. Gabriel Gafița as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Romania to the Republic of Peru, the Plurinational State of Bolivia and the Republic of Ecuador;
• Decree of dismissal of Mr. Valentin Florea as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Romania in the Eastern Republic of Uruguay;
• Decree on the dismissal of Mr. Vasile Soare as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania in the Russian Federation.
