At the age of 20, Ana Maria Tănase is considered a public danger, having an extremely rich history of crimes that began when she was only 11 years old and when she was part of a group of delinquent children. Tognnase is actively involved in dozens of robberies and robberies, her favorite targets being the elderly who go shopping or drunkards, some of whom are terribly beaten, but she also participated in the commission of two crimes.
To all this is added an episode in which she was the protagonist, when after a robbery she was attacked in
the headquarters of the Piatra Neamţ Police by the commander of the institution, Chief Commissioner Cezar Filip. Filip resigned and left the system after a video of the incident was posted on YouTube.
Ana Tănase continued her “activity” and after reaching the age of criminal responsibility, 14 years old, she was sentenced, spent time in juvenile detention centers, but once released she went on to register two other crimes.
The way in which they were committed reveals the criminal perseverance of the young woman, who in order to achieve her objective attacked the same victim, a man, twice in the same day, in a very short interval. The events occurred on September 18, 2020, when the Piatra Neamţ Police were notified by a local who claimed that a neighbor had been attacked and had several injuries. Following investigations, the police established that a 43-year-old man from Piatra Neamţ was followed by Ana Tănase while walking towards the house and violently attacked from behind for stealing his wallet from his pocket, which happened. . “To ensure her escape, the young woman fought with the man and gave a jerk, freeing herself from the trap, at which point he recovered her wallet,” reported the Neamţ Police.
Although the first robbery attempt failed, the criminal did not give up, as she continued to follow the man, assaulting him just off the block where he lived. “By committing acts of violence and pushing him from behind, the man fell and was injured, at which point he was deprived of his mobile phone. After the forensic examination, the physical injuries sustained require 7 to 8 days of medical attention ”, also announced IPJ Neamţ.
How he became a “star” at the national level
It is likely that the signals provided by the victim and the way in which the robbery was committed clarified to law enforcement officers about the perpetrator, and the following day, based on information received from a police officer in his spare time, the young woman was found in Piatra Neamţ, detained and then arrested.
If for these two robberies Ana Maria Tănase ended up in custody, for the acts committed when she was under 14 years of age, she could not be held criminally responsible. The crime champion also participated in two acts of extreme violence. On the night of January 2-3, 2013, an adult from Bacău, accompanied by three minors aged 14, 12 and Ana Maria Tănase, then 13 years old, entered the house of an 81-year-old man from Piatra Neamţ, to rob him. The victim was brutally beaten and died a few days later. And in this case, she escaped the criminal investigation because she was not 14 years old at the time of the crime.
Then, in September 2013, Ana Maria Tănase accompanied Ştefan Botezatu (25 years old), who was following a well-known actor, Constantin Ghenescu, after he had withdrawn money from an ATM in Piatra Neamţ. After the 69-year-old man entered the apartment, he was attacked, and while the actor was stabbed and suffocated with a pillow, the minor was looking for money in the house.
She was investigated for robbery, breaking and entering and failing to report a crime, but her age again ensured her “escape.” Ana Maria Tognnese would become “famous” on a national level in 2014, after a scandal that cost Cezar Filip, Piatra Neamţ’s police chief, her job.
On March 19, 2014, a video was published on YouTube in which the chief commissioner beat the minor in the waiting room of the institution he ran. It happened on March 8, when the officer, in a flower shop, saw Ana Tănase trying to rob an old man, called a team, and the girl was captured and taken to the headquarters, where he was slapped by the police.
The images from the surveillance cameras of the Piatra Neamţ police passed into the hands of a subordinate of the commander and were posted, by a stranger, on YouTube. Subsequently, Chief Commissioner Filip was sent to trial by DIICOT for abusive behavior and was sentenced to 5 months and 17 days in prison with a postponement of sentence for a period of two years.
