I know from the discussions I’ve had. so far with foreign leaders who trust that democratic institutions in the United States are considered strong and resilient. “
Joe Biden’s team said on Monday it could take legal action if the General Services Administration does not announce validation of the victory in the presidential election, Mediafax reports.
President-elect Donald Trump has so far refused to acknowledge his defeat and has launched actions to question the results in the decisive states, denouncing alleged electoral fraud.
“We are making great progress. Results will start coming in a week. We will win,” Donald Trump said on Twitter Tuesday.
For his part, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Tuesday that “it will be an easy transition to the second term of the Trump administration.”
