It was NEW YEAR’S EVE in Sector 6, on Sunday at 00.00. People full of NERVES! “This is what happens in the communist blocs! Miserable conditions worthy of the last century “

It was “New Year’s Eve” from Sunday night to Monday, set at 00.00.

At 00:00, after no less than seven days, the inhabitants of various neighborhoods in Sector 6 were able to bathe in hot water without heating their entire pots of water on the stove.

USR promised us that one day after winning the local elections, we will have hot water. On the contrary. It was the first time in a few weeks that the lack of hot water lasted exactly seven days. People waited until midnight on New Year’s Eve to bathe because every now and then they would stop again. And people will have to shoot the beasts around the house again. Well, pots.

The situation in Sector 6 is not unique. The same happened in Sector 1 from where Mayor Clotilde Armand “came”.

Several DC News readers wrote to the newsroom about the hot water problem:

“Hi, I don’t know why no one writes about ‘breakdowns’ and low parameters when it comes to hot water supply. It is probably not of interest that a considerable part of Sector 1 has not had hot water for a week. Specifically, in Ion MIhalache Boulevard we have not had hot water for 1 week, it flows cold. Nobody responds in CMTEB (see photo), in the section that deals with delivery in the 1st section, the operation announcements under parameters are extended every 10 hours or every 6 hours to do or they are idiots), “wrote a Sector 1 resident.

Another Sector 6 resident wrote us:

“I am writing to you this morning to inform you that exactly after one week, at 00.00, I managed to bathe as a normal citizen in Romania in 2020. All week I washed as people wash in many towns in the country: in the sink after heating up dozens of pots of water on the stove. But I live in Bucharest, where USR promised us hot water. The same thing happened last Sunday: at 00.00 it was hot. This Sunday also at 00.00. I waited for the water hot while you wait for the New Year.

The problem is different: that on the CMTEB.ro website we were informed that the hot water will arrive on Saturday at 10.00. And I turned on the hot water like a fool for about an hour, waiting for it to get hot, as I advertised on the site. And I tried it like this, every hour, for ten minutes. At the end of the month, I will pay for the hot water for the tests I did, even though it was obviously freezing. After a while, we went back to the CMTEB.ro website where they informed us that “the operation is below the parameters”, in translation: the hot water came, but it is cold. And so I waited until 00.00. It is a pandemic. I would like those who ask us to wash our hands to try to wash with this ice water, to see how it is. cold flows! I will leave the communist bloc in which I live because of this: it is not normal to not have hot water for a week, and not know when it will stop again. I have not heard anyone on the block complain that it is not hot water. Many have gotten so used to it. This is probably why these blocks of flats, from the 70s – 80s, are asking for tens of thousands of euros, even though they don’t have anything basic: hot water and heating! Absolutely all the new housing blocks become central, but some have become used to accepting miserable conditions worthy of the last century in the Romanian capital ”.
