Today an extraordinary meeting took place at the club, in which it was decided to replace Moșteanu with Adrian Dulcea, a former striker for the white-violets, who currently coaches Unirea Bascov, a third-tier group. The measure would become official in the next few hours.
According to GSP.ro, “Dulcea boom-boom”, as fans nicknamed it, would be officially presented on Monday.
“We will break up with Mr. Moșteanu. There were some discontent after yesterday’s game, and tomorrow or the day after tomorrow the name of the new manager will materialize. There are conversations with Adi Dulcea, but they have not been finalized yet. There are other coaches on the list. At the moment, there is nothing concrete ”, declared a team official by GSP.

Adrian Dulcea, former striker, played for FC Argeș between 2007 and 2010, being a character highly appreciated by the gallery and who maintains good relations with the Blue and White management. He also coached the Pitesti team between 2013 and 2015, when he played in League 3 and was called SCM Argeșul Pitesti. He was also at the helm of FC Argeș 1953, the team that was reborn in 2015 with the help of the fans in League 4, and which eventually merged with the City Council team.

FC Argeș is ranked 15 in League 1, with only nine points accumulated in 11 games. Returning in the first season after an 11-year absence, Argepointed’s team disappointed in the current season, being one of the credited teams with little chance of remaining in the first league.
