The fight between Nicușor Dan and Gabriela Firea for the General City Council of the Capital was close, but the map of the results in the polling stations shows the surprising homogeneity of the extra votes obtained by the independent candidate supported by PNL and USR-PLUS. Instead, Gabriela Firea emerged victorious in many sections “from the edge”, from Sector 5, near Voluntari or Pantelimon or from the New Bucharest area.

VOTE MAP NO
Zoom Report also prepared a map with the situation of null votes in each section for the elections to the General City Council.
Although on average the situation of null votes per section is around 1%, there are sections with up to 5-8% of null votes of the total expressed.
Sections that have more than zero votes appear redder on the map and, in most situations, they appear in the area of the sections where Gabriela Firea was the winner.
It is true that there are sections with a higher percentage of canceled votes where the winner was Nicu wasor Dan.
