Beatrice Mahler, manager of the “Marius Nasta” Institute in Bucharest, explained to Digi24 that producers of anti-Covid vaccines expect immunity after vaccination to last up to two years, and an answer will be found this year. The doctor noted that each of us can increase the resistance of our own body and listed three factors: healthy eating, minimized stress and rest.
Otherwise, even after vaccination, the body’s ability to respond will be diminished, Beatrice Mahler said.
“So far we have data on a maximum and effective immune response up to 8 months after immunization. Immunity is effective after another period of time. We do not have scientific data to support an immune response during a given period. Vaccine manufacturers go public and confirm that immunity is expected to last 1 to 2 years for the vaccines currently being administered.
The most important thing would be to pay attention to how this immunity is maintained and the body responds if we are talking about people who can go through the disease and become asymptomatic.
So we have immunity for a long time. This year we will have a response to immunity that exceeds the year maybe even 2. But we must know that the vaccines and prophylactic treatment that we have at our disposal are a solution for each one of us.
When our body is in balance and we have a balanced life – rest, stress reduction, healthy eating – the immune system has the ability to respond to the vaccines that have been administered and has the ability to produce enough antibodies. we can receive the vaccine, but our body’s response capacity is diminished. The lifestyle we have is very important“said Dr. Beatrice Mahler.
