A man robbed a bank branch in sector 2 of the Capital on Tuesday morning, in front of the Romanian Police headquarters.
The police were informed by a call to 112 that a man entered a bank office in sector 2, who threatened one of the tellers and managed to steal 10,000 lei. The threat was made through a note that said: “You have 10 seconds to get all the money out of the drawer … if you comply, you will get home safely. If you take the wrong step, you cut yourself.”
According to the Capital Police, on Tuesday, around 10 a.m., by call 112, it was notified that a man entered a bank office in sector 2, who threatened one of the tellers and managed to steal 10,000 lei. The man managed to escape before the alert system was activated by pressing the panic button.
“The threat was made through a document. At that time, there were only employees in the agency. No one was injured.”says the police.
The investigations were assumed by the Criminal Investigation Service of the Capital Police in order to identify the man and recover the damages.
