The manager of the “Victor Babeș” hospital in Timișoara, Dr. Cristian Oancea, warned about the critical situation in the ATI rooms, confessing that the hospital no longer has places to care for all patients. The doctor said the medical unit had to refuse. a 10 year old because of this.

“I rejected a 10-year-old boy and my soul was broken because we no longer have places,” Dr. Cristian Oancea told Realitatea Plus.

The doctor told Digi24 that he had to recommend that DSP employees go to another medical center, closer to Arad. “They called us if we had places and we said no, because that’s the situation and we told them to go to the next center, closer to Arad.”

The manager of the “Victor Babeș” hospital in Timișoara once again drew attention to the problems facing the medical system: “We are at the end of our power, the hospitals are full and we still see messages of division.” We continue to ask the people for solidarity, they tell us that we are corrupt, but we do our duty to the end. So far we have succeeded, but now we need to somehow increase the pediatric capacity of COVID and ask parents who have children with comorbidities to care for and protect them. “
