PSD president Marcel Ciolacu considers that the presence of Dumitru Dragomir on the list of municipal councilors is “untimely”, but says that the PSD Sector 3 branch must make a decision about him.
„We had a separate discussion with the president of the Sector 3 branch, because he took note of the public statements of Mr. Mitică Dragomir and I asked the Sector 3 organization to urgently analyze the situation, so that until the validation it has a decision from the organization whether or not Mr. Mitică Dragomir will be validated as General Counsel of the Capital ”, said Ciolacu.
He added that Gabriela Firea attended this discussion.
„I have expressed my point of view, now it follows the decision of my colleagues in Sector 3. I do not want to go into details of either the past or the present of Mr. Dragomir. I consider it inappropriate to have him on the list of general councilors, ”he added, answering journalists’ questions.
Dragomir said yesterday that he does not resign as PMB’s general counsel.
„I will be general counsel. I set a record, I competed everything I needed, I made the match … I don’t give up. I am the chosen body, the people have chosen me, ”he said.
„I understood that Mr. Román surrendered, Mr. Pancu, Mr. Cornel Dinu ”, Ciolacu also said.
Gabriela Firea said that Petre Roman, Cornel Dinu, Daniel Pancu and Sorin Ilieşiu announced that they are withdrawing from the list of general councilors, after losing elections for a new term.
PSD address sources they said yesterday for Digi24.ro that the controversial proposals in the PSD list for the Bucharest General Council will be withdrawn. Among those proposed by Gabriela Firea on the CGMB list, forced to resign from the mandate won on September 27, are former Prime Minister Petre Roman and Dumitru Dragomir, former president of the Professional Football League. In addition, the former coach of the national soccer team, Anghel Iordnăescu, will be removed from the list. Former soccer player Daniel Pancu and coach Cornel Dinu also resign from the mandate of general counsel.
