Patrice Evra: “I begged for money in front of the stores!”
Born in Dakar, Senegal, Evra arrived in Europe in Paris when she was just one year old. “It was not easy living on the street. I had many brothers and a difficult childhood. Sometimes I did not even have food.”, recalled the player with 81 selections for France.

Throughout his career, Evra has played for clubs such as Monaco, Manchester United, West Ham, Nice, Juventus and Marseille. He played for United for eight years, from 2006 to 2014.
