The coronavirus pandemic shattered the plans of many couples who dreamed of a big wedding.
But two young Malaysians managed to bypass the restrictions that the guest list should be limited to 20 people and received congratulations on the big day from 10,000 people “present” at their wedding, safely, according to BBC News.
The wedding of the two became a self-service. On Sunday morning, the newlyweds stood in front of a large government building in Putrajaya, south of the capital Kuala Lumpur, as the guests slowly passed them in their cars.
Windows remained up, while guests sent greeting cards from a distance.

The wedding took place the day before the groom’s father-in-law was found guilty in a corruption case, sentenced to 12 months in prison.
Malaysia is currently facing a new wave of Covid-19 cases. The country has a total of about 92,000 coronavirus cases and more than 430 deaths.
