The absence of PSD senator Ion Ganea from the meeting of the Senate Permanent Office does not allow the meeting of the leadership of the legislative forum, which is why the law that postpones the date of the parliamentary elections cannot enter the re-examination procedure parliamentary. PSD First Vice President Sorin Grindeanu says Ganea refuses to answer calls. “We no longer consider him a social democrat,” Grindeanu said.

“As far as I know, there (in the Permanent Office of the Senate) there was a situation with a member of the PSD who during this period refused to answer our calls. That BP member is no longer in an eligible position. From here to refusing to do your job is a long way. It doesn’t mean you don’t have to come to work or listen to the siren calls of current energy. We no longer have a majority in BP. We no longer consider him a social democrat, ”says Sorin Grindeanu, quoted by Mediafax.

He says the Social Democrats wanted Parliament to quickly reject President Klaus Iohannis’ request to reexamine the law, which stipulates that the date of parliamentary elections is set by the Legislature, not December 6, as decided by the Government.

“I hope that those who have to go to work, regardless of the party’s orders, will do so and at least go to the BP meeting,” added the PSD leader.
