A map with the vote of sector 5, extracted from the data present in the tables of the Permanent Electoral Authority, shows us where the NLP mattered and where the City Council of Sector 5 lost the contest.

And it gave Cristian Popescu Piedone, the mayor sentenced to 8 years and 6 months in prison in the first instance, the opportunity to win a new sentence in the mayor’s office of a district, after the two victories in S4 (2008-2012 and 2012 -2015, unfinished term after the collective catastrophe).

Because, although the “liberals” won most of the polling stations in the north of the sector and almost all the polling stations in the south, in the heart of Rahova and in the heart of Ferentari, it didn’t matter.

With the exception of the School no. 280, located right on the border that delimits the electoral trends, but traditionally, in Rahova, the PNL lost all the voting centers in the south. Most and largest.

Some observations:

1) The great centers were here. For example, school number 127, located at the confluence of Rahova and Ferentari, near Humulești Park, had no less than 12 polling stations. In a center.

Here, Piedone got 2,182 votes. Huge. Almost double that of Cristian Băcanu, who nonetheless got 1,233 votes. But less than the 1,641 of Florea.

A situation was also found in which NLP was surpassed in the sections of School no. 136 of the Ferentari Expansion. If 1,359 people voted with Popescu, only 292 elected Băcanu. Difference of more than 1,000 votes from a single electoral college.

Basically, the last elections in the sector concluded: without Rahova and Ferentari you will NOT be able to win Sector 5.

2) Piedone was also voted in the center

At Lazăr High School, Faculty of Law, School no. 150, IG Duca School, Piedone gathered enough votes, even if Băcanu won easily.

Some examples:

• 123 people voted for him at Lazăr High School, where more than 300 chose Florea; Yes, more than 500 sealed the Băcanu house, but, although the NLP member had 4 times as many votes, this small center brought him only a difference of 400 votes, easily returned by Piedone to any center in Ferentari.
• 100 voted for him in one of the great NLP centers, School no. 150 from Eroilor, where Băcanu did not reach 1,000 votes.
• 37 people voted with Piedone in the Faculty of Law, also in the center, where, likewise, it was only 10% of the 372 votes of Băcanu. But, again, the difference of less than 350 votes could easily be traced to the southern areas of the city.
