How can you enroll in the vaccine? Authorities say there are several ways

Registration for vaccination against the new coronavirus, on the platform dedicated to programming, can be done in various ways, depending on the three stages of the campaign in Romania.

In order to ensure the access of all categories of people to the vaccination schedule, several registration possibilities have been identified, at each stage, says a statement from the authorities, cited by Agerpres.

Registrations can be made as follows:

  • individually, directly on the platform https://programare.vaccinare-covid.gov.ro/
  • through call call centers public health departments (DSP), operationalized by the Ministry of National Defense (MApN), together with the Special Telecommunications Service (STS)
  • through family doctors
  • through the staff of municipalities social assistance departments.

The National Coordinator of Vaccination Activities against COVID-19 (CNCAV) points out that each person can register on the platform by choosing one of the modalities corresponding to the category to which they belong.

Tickets for stage 1

For people included in the category of social and health workers – public and private system – registrations can be made:

  • through the employer, for social and health workers – public and private system
  • calling the call centers, for people who do not have a qualified digital certificate or are not organized as a legal entity with a medical profile

Registration for the second stage

For stage 2 – high risk population and workers working in key and essential areas – registrations can be made:

  • through through employer, for staff working in key and essential areas;
  • individual, directly on the IT platform, for people who have age over 65 years (the application confirms the age by verifying the CNP entered in the registry);
  • via family doctor, for people over 65 and for people with chronic diseases, regardless of age;
  • through the administrator, for people at high risk of medical, social and residential centers;
  • through caretakers, for people over 65;
  • calling call centerelor, for people over 65 and for people registered in chronic diseases, regardless of age;
  • through Directorates of social assistance at the municipal level, for people over 65 and for people with chronic diseases, regardless of age;

Registration for the 3rd stage

For stage 3 – general population – records can be made:

  • through the employer;
  • individually, directly on the computer platform;
  • calling call centers;
  • through the family doctor;
  • through the social assistance departments at the municipal level.

The CNCAV recalls that, at this time, appointments on the platform https://programare.vaccinarecovid.gov.ro/ are available only to people in stage I – who carry out their activity in the fields of health and social – public and private system.

How many people have been vaccinated so far in Romania

More than 5,600 people, medical personnel, have been vaccinated so far in Romania, Wednesday being the fourth day of the vaccination campaign.

According to the data made available to the CNCAV by the National Institute of Public Health through the application of the National Electronic Vaccine Registry (RENV), the vaccination situation as of December 30, at 5:00 p.m., was the following:

  • Number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 with the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine (in the last 24 hours): 2,888.
  • Total number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 with the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine (as of December 27, 2020): 5,666.
  • Number of adverse reactions recorded in vaccination centers (in the last 24 hours) – 10 common and mild reactions, of which: 2 local reactions, with pain at the injection site; 8 general febrile reactions.
  • Number of adverse reactions reported in vaccination centers (as of December 27, 2020): 17 common and mild reactions, of which: 4 local reactions with pain at the injection site; 13 general reactions: 10 febrile, 3 allergic urticaria.

The National Committee indicates that the program of the vaccination centers ends at 8:00 p.m., so the number of vaccinations carried out between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. will be reflected in the report of the following day.
