In total, by the end of September, Romania should have 25.7 million doses, five million more than the initial estimate.
“Things may change, but so far, know that when we draw the line, it has changed for the better, because we expect to have 2.4 million doses by the end of March and we have 2.6 at the moment. In April we will receive 4.5 million doses, in May 4,970, almost 5 million doses, in June 6.8 million, in July 7.4, in August 8.1 and in September 8.4 “, said the prime minister. .
“Everyone must understand that if we want to get out of this period faster, we must get vaccinated. If we look at the waiting list, it is clear that we will keep some doses,” said Florin Cîțu.
The Executive Director also announced that deliveries of COVID vaccine doses to the Republic of Moldova will continue.
“This weekend we will send another 50,400 doses of vaccine to the Republic of Moldova. You know very well, we are committed to sending 200,000 doses, we are sending another 50,400 this weekend, so things go further,” added Cîțu.
