The lawyer left me alone, came and returned the money, that he wants to live in peace, that he has a family and children and that he does not want problems. Vardinoianis, in those years, did what he wanted in Greece, like Ceausescu in Romania.

“Is the story that you wanted to poison yourself true?”
– I took a handful of pills, I tried to poison myself! It is not a legend. I wanted to poison myself and I was intubated in the hospital for a week. Vardinoianis was also startled when she saw that he had taken her by the head. A lawyer got me out of jail if I signed a blank piece of paper. I didn’t want to sign, my wife came to me … I finally signed it at 2:00 and at 2:30 they let me out of the penitentiary!
