He lost control, he didn’t understand anything basic

Alexandru Rafila, the PSD proposal for the post of prime minister attacked Nelu Tătaru at Digi24. The doctor says that the minister lost control of the pandemic because he did not understand one basic thing, namely that he had to strengthen the health system. In addition, Rafila stressed that Romania “has reached the plateau and the number of tests, instead of increasing, has started to decline.”

Alexandru Rafila: In the past two months, the liberal government has lost control of the pandemic. The patient care system, the ATI wards, the COVID hospitals are overloaded with work. Colleagues of mine from the country have shown that the evolution of the cases is not favorable.

We reached the plateau and the number of tests, instead of increasing, began to decrease. And this has led to a decrease in the number of reported cases.

Tataru and I have interacted quite a bit in the last 6 months. He did not understand anything basic: in order to control things, the public health system must be strengthened, to interrupt transmission. And this, unfortunately, did not happen in Romania.

The technical committee has not met for 3 months.

The Minister should not conduct working visits, but establish a mechanism to address these issues.
