Harghita enters the red script. The number of cases skyrocketed in Timiș

Harghita County has reached the incidence of 3 cases of COVID-19 infection per thousand inhabitants in the last 14 days. It is the third county to enter the red stage this week, after Alba and Cluj.

Bucharest passed the 3 per thousand threshold at the end of last week, and has now reached an infection rate of 3.33, slightly higher than yesterday’s 3.31. In the Capital, 685 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.

Alba continues to be the municipality with the highest contagion rate, 3.54 per thousand, compared to 3.37 yesterday. Here are 96 new cases of COVID, according to the latest assessment.

It is followed by Cluj, with an infection rate of 3.18 and 273 new cases of COVID-19.

Harghita has an infection rate of 3 per thousand today, and since the last assessment there have been 130 new coronavirus infections.

In Sibiu there is a growing incidence, which reached 2.78 per thousand, with 160 new cases in the last 24 hours.

However, the highest number of infections, after Bucharest, was recorded in Timiș, 333 cases of COVID-19 since the last assessment, compared to 205 new cases confirmed yesterday. Here, the infection rate is 2.59.
