The leader of the AUR deputies, George Simion, began his speech in the plenary session of Parliament for the investiture of the Government of Cîțu with lyrics from Adrian Păunescu, continuing to urge the Romanian people to fight for the reopening of schools or not to pay taxes because “They owe us everything they can anyway.”
- “The head of Mihai Viteazul de Torda stands up / And asks why the country was still so small /
- And the sad Turzii Plain responds with pain / Because today we miss His Majesty’s head ”- that’s how the AUR leader began his speech, from the Parliament rostrum.
He continued with exhortations for the Romanian people:
- “My message today is for the Romanian people: Parliament’s restaurants are open. The entire HoReCa sector must be opened.
- You, the Romanian people, are fined if you wear the mask a little more to the left or to the right, you threaten us, beat us, and here at 2.00 at night the leadership of the Chamber of Deputies was abusively voted and one was unemployed side by side for the hyenas to attack.
- Today we end up borrowing a billion an hour. We thank Mr. Cîţu for this. Romanian people, it is time to reopen the schools. That is what we ask of the new Government ”.
George Simion urged Romanians to stop even paying taxes: “Your money and Romania were divided like prey. It hurts. I know it hurts. It will hurt worse and worse. Romanian people, refuse” Pay taxes, pay taxes. Anyway, they owe us everything they can. Anyway, they will steal your money. Fight to reopen our businesses, schools. “I would very much like to show you and slap you on the cheek, where were the Romanians when they cut Mihai Viteazul?” Simion added.
