Clotilde Armand was sworn in today, more than a month after the local elections on September 27. The new mayor of Sector 1 of the Capital said that he will be guided by three principles: “Stop the piles, stop corruption, stop the bureaucracy.”

“As of today, don’t forget, we all have a debt to the Romanians: the mayor’s office must work 100% for the citizens. I know the problems of Sector 1 and the causes of this mismanagement. I was a local councilor for three years and I fought to right what was unfair to our democracy. We must put aside political pride and carry out projects that have already been voted on and approved. Citizens are tired of theft, combinations and promises, “said Clotilde Armand , according to Mediafax.

He also says that he will order an audit at City Hall.

“Thorough cleaning is not done by hiding garbage under the mat. Garbage must be thrown away. We will be guided by three principles: stop the piles, stop corruption, stop the bureaucracy,” added the new mayor of Sector 1 of the Capital.

Clotilde Armand took the oath with the religious formula “May God help me!”

Clotilde Armand chose, unlike the USR PLUS advisers, to pronounce the final religious formula “May God help me!”

“I swear to respect the Constitution and the laws of the country and to do, in good faith, everything in my power and ability for the good of the inhabitants of Sector 1 of Bucharest. This is how God help me, ”said Clotilde Armand.

The USR PLUS counselors chose to take the oath without the religious formula “God help me!”

According to the Administrative Code, the conclusive religious formula will respect the freedom of religious belief, the oath can be taken even without the religious formula.
