Gabriela Firea, Mayor General of the Capital, made new revelations about how the Bucharest elections would have been rigged in local elections. Firea says he went through all the minutes in Bucharest and discovered forgeries, including a criminal complaint.
“We reviewed all the copies of the minutes from all sectors and found a series of inconsistencies and even falsifications, which is why our lawyers have already drawn up a criminal complaint directed at the commission of electoral crimes. I will give you some examples. I have before me minutes that do not correspond, there are 200 extra votes for Nicusor Dan.

In another section, where we lost 2-3 votes, about 20 ballots are missing.

What I told you last night happened. When at 9 in the morning another television channel announced an exit poll of AVANGARDE, some of our representatives left, others were chased away, intimidated. All ballots are placed on a table and the count begins. One was recorded in the minutes, another was communicated to AEP. Beyond these serious errors, there is other evidence that the elections in Bucharest were flawed. I know how to win modestly, I know how to lose with dignity. I packed my things in the City Hall, but I think that out of respect for democracy, we need to know what happened. In my opinion, it was robbed en masse in Bucharest.
I don’t give up on anything, but I was alone against everyone in the campaign. I do not feel abandoned by my party under any circumstances. I’m only talking about the campaign. The citizens of Romania have something to lose. They don’t know anything anymore.

From my point of view, I want to continue. It is not about defending our functions. I am a more than reasonable and decent man, but out of respect for all Romanians we want to follow these steps. I want to believe that everyone in the party will do the same. I said people don’t care, it’s beyond candidates.
I go to the end and I think my teammates will do the same. Not because of our functions, not because of the political party, but out of respect for democracy. I said it today and I think my point of view agrees with the opinions of other colleagues. We have no reason to stop. It was an operation throughout the Capital.
