Former athlete of the national team, raped by COVID-19. He sent a disturbing message before he died

Former member of the national wrestling team, Claudiu Patrascu, died at the age of 46 due to the new coronavirus.

The athlete has been in the ATI department of the Constanza hospital for 18 days, where he desperately asked for the help of doctors to save him.

“It’s horrible. Pray for my life,” Patrascu wrote on Facebook on November 30.

Friends jumped to the aid of the former combatant and donated plasma to him.

Unfortunately, he lost the fight with the virus and died on Saturday night.

Claudiu Patrascu became a policeman, after quitting sports and leaving behind two grief-stricken girls and a wife, Prosport writes.
