The Minister of Finance, Florin Cîțu, announces revelations after the controls ordered by the Economic Inspection in the capital city council.

Cîțu wrote on Facebook that on Monday, during weekly press releases, he will present the findings of the report from the Department of Economic Inspection of the Ministry of Public Finance to the mayors of Bucharest.

“I tell you from now on that there are big problems there,” Florin Cîțu wrote on Facebook on Sunday, according to Mediafax.

A few days ago, Cîțu said that irregularities were discovered in all the investigated aspects.

“I promised! At the beginning of the year, in February, the MFP Economic Inspectorate started a check at the Bucharest City Hall. PMB was” overlooked “for many years by such checks. The check was interrupted during the state of emergency but it was finalized “I will present more details in the weekly MFP press releases. Until then, I can tell you that the law has been violated in all the aspects investigated by the MFP, “the Finance Minister wrote on his Facebook page.

In response, Mayor General Gabriela Firea said that she will file a criminal complaint against the Minister of Finance and the inspectors who attended the Capital Mayor’s Office, for abuse of office.

“Minister Cîțu announced today that he found (invented) I don’t know what irregularities in the City Council of the capital. He’s been fighting for almost a year, poor thing! Found nothing! They were forced for 10 months to find something, anything, and they failed, because they had nothing to negatively identify. And they went as they came. The three inspectors returned to City Hall one day and said that if they didn’t write something, anything in the report would be fired by their bosses. They have a few years until retirement and they cannot afford to stay on the roads, ”Gabriela Firea wrote on Facebook.
