The Greek press announces that Serbian central defender Bogdan Planic (28 years old) won the lawsuit with his former team, FCSB, at the Laussane Court of Arbitration for Sport and was chosen with a good amount of money: 60,000 euros!
Greek journalists from “sndn.gr“announces that Bogdan Planic defeated Gigi Becali, the owner of FCSB, at TAS, and received compensation of 60,000 euros. The Serbian was very close to arriving at AEK Athens a few months ago, but Becali threatened the Greek team with a lawsuit in which he will demand compensation of 10 million euros, if this happens.
Then AEK Athens officials backed off, although they had reached a verbal agreement with the player. Consequently, Bogdan Planic kept looking for a new team, convinced that he could not lose the suit at TAS with FCSB. In the end, he signed with the Israeli team Maccabi Haifa, for which he has scored five games so far.
Bogdan Planic, angry at Gigi Becali’s decision!
Bogdan Planic still had a contract with the FCSB until June 2021. Unsatisfied with Becali’s decision to put the footballers on technical strike, the Serbian defender broke the contract with the Romanian Cup champion, considering that the two-month strike technician were, in reality, months of unpaid work, so Becali violated the contract.
Gigi Becali challenged the method by which Planic broke her contract with FCSB and stated that she would never give up on this fight. Thus, the club that will sign with the Serbian defender will wake up with a lawsuit from Gigi Becali, a lawsuit from which the owner of the rojiblancos hopes to obtain compensation of ten million euros.
“I am 100% that I will win (without trial) if I sign a contract with him. We will see the dispute. If I signed the contract, how can he be right? 10 million take away, or leave football and no longer take anything. But if you play soccer, any team pays you 10 million (no – euro)”, Transmitted Gigi Becali, a few months ago.
