The District 1 Court decided to validate the mandates in the case of 45 general councilors of the Capital, but annulled the mandate of Dumitru Dragomir, according to Agerpres.
According to some PSD sources, Dragomir’s mandate was invalidated after he lost his PSD membership, being fired by the PSD Sector 3 organization.
Among the general councilors validated by the court are the former coach of the national soccer team Anghel Iordănescu, the multiple Olympic rowing champion Elisabeta Lipă, but also the actress Monica Davidescu, all chosen from the PSD lists.
In addition, the mandates of General Councilors Vlad Voiculescu and Ana Maria Ciceală (USR PLUS), but also of Aurelian Bădulescu (PSD), were validated.

The court’s decision is communicated to the prefect, the general secretary of the Bucharest municipality and the declared elected local councilors whose terms have been invalidated.
The decision is not final and can be appealed within 3 days after communication.
On October 8, Dumitru Dragomir, elected from the PSD lists, declares that he will not resign as general counsel.
“I will be a general counsel. I gave him a record, filled out everything he needed, made the meeting. (…) I am not giving up. I am the elected body, the people elected me,” Dumitru Dragomir said then .
Subsequently, the president of the PSD, Marcel Ciolacu, declared that the presence of Dumitru Dragomir in the General Council is “untimely”, and his situation will be analyzed by the party organization in Sector 3.
“I had a separate discussion with the president of the Sector 3 organization, because I took note of the public statements of Mr. Mitică Dragomir. I asked the Sector 3 organization to urgently analyze the situation, so that until validation I have a decision of the organization whether or not Mr. Mitică Dragomir will be validated as General Counsel of the Capital. I have expressed my point of view towards my colleagues, which is normal, now it follows the decision of my colleagues from Sector 3. I would not want to enter into details, neither with the past of Mr. Dragomir, nor with the present. The validation of the general counsel was delayed, as there were uncertainties about the competent court to decide in this case.
