Dozens of schools in the country have left the green stage from yesterday to today and have entered the yellow or even red stage, with teaching exclusively online, according to data provided by the Ministry of Education.

The situation of the country’s schools with respect to the scenarios according to which the classes take place, effective on Friday, at 12.00, was as follows (data reported daily by the Ministry of Education):

12,953 of schools Stage 1 (green): daily participation (face to face) of all preschoolers and students of educational units, with compliance and application of all health protection standards

4,391 of schools in Stage 2 (yellow). This implies daily participation (face to face) of all preschool and elementary school students, students in grades VIII and XII, in compliance with and application of all protection regulations, respectively the partial return (by rotation of one or two weeks) of students from other classes of gymnasium and baccalaureate, with the fulfillment and application of all protection regulations

312 of schools in Stage 3 (red)– Participation of all preschoolers and students in online activities / lessons.

Compared to the previous day, the situation has evolved in the sense that almost 30 schools in the country have left the green stage and have gone to the yellow or red stage.

On Friday, the number of schools in the green stage decreased by 28 compared to Thursday, when they were 12,981 of fully open schools.

In contrast, the number of schools in the yellow scenario increased (by 16 more on Friday than on Thursday, when they were 4,375) and the number of schools in the red scenario, completely closed (12 more on Friday than on Thursday, when they were 300).
