Lawyers for Donald Trump’s team and representatives of the Republican Party had filed a lawsuit in Arizona last week, challenging the application of election procedures in the Maricopa district.
During Friday’s hearings, Kory Langhofer, one of the attorneys on Donald Trump’s team, announced in court that the lawsuit “is no longer necessary.” According to data centralized by the Associated Press, Joseph Biden, the candidate of the Democratic Party, has an advance of 11,000 votes in Arizona, after counting 99% of the ballots.
Donald Trump’s team is taking legal action to challenge the election results in the states of Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, according to the news site Axios.com. Donald Trump has yet to acknowledge Joseph Biden’s victory in the November 3 presidential election.
