Donald Trump doesn’t have the support of his family either! Jared Kushner, Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser, approached the president to step down from contesting the election, CNN reports.
This action by Jared Kushner follows a statement from Trump. Moments after CNN cast Joe Biden as president-elect, Trump said the former vice president was “in a rush to pose as the winner” and that “the race is far from over.”

“I will not rest until the American people have the honest votes that democracy deserves and demands,” Trump said, adding that the legal battle for the campaign will begin Monday.
Biden-Harris Deputy Director Kate Bedingfield said there had been no communication between Biden and Trump or their representatives since Biden was elected president.
