The Social Democrats launched their government program at Romexpo on Tuesday, as well as the team that worked on the document. Unofficially, the team presented is in fact the shadow government of the PSD, and its prime minister is Sorin Grindeanu. The program proposed by PSD abounds in electoral-populist promises, among which are the non-taxation of the minimum wage, the increase in pensions and bonuses, differentiated taxes according to the number of children or loans with subsidized interest.

Marcel Ciolacu stated at the start of the event that “the new PSD team is ready to bring Romania out of the darkness into which the NLP threw them.”

Today we launch here the campaign that will decide the future of our country, in which we will all fight against flagrant incompetence, the disastrous management of the NLP Government. Unlike them, the new PSD team is ready to bring Romania out of the darkness into which the NLP threw them. “We, the PSD, have competent people who can implement these solutions. Never in its history has Romania had a government so indifferent towards the Romanians, their health and their lives,” said Marcel Ciolacu at the beginning of the Romexpo event.

The coordinator of the PSD government program, former Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu, is the one who presented the proposals on taxation. Grindeanu affirms that the first measure that the PSD Government would take would be to reduce the minimum wage tax.

“Now we are presenting a very simple solution, which can be achieved from the first session of government. We increase income by reducing taxes. Specifically, we increase deductions, that is, the amounts of gross salary that will be tax-free, tax-free. It does not exert pressure on the business environment and with a minimal impact on the state budget, of only 0.2% of GDP ”, explained Grindeanu

The promises of PSD synthesized by Sorin Grindeanu

  • nursery vouchers,
  • mothers will receive a pension bonus,
  • increase the reintegration incentive for mothers who return to work within 2 years after the birth of the child
  • doubling the allowances for parenting,
  • 32% increase in the pension point in the next 4 years,
  • the granting of vouchers of up to 100,000 euros per company to cover the costs of training courses,
  • retraining courses between 2500-5000 lei.
