The Ministry of Health sent, in an address to the Public Health Directorates of the country, the standard model of the medical certificate for enrollment in the community, which all students must obtain from the family doctor, before the start of the new school year. Family physicians are unhappy that, in the midst of the pandemic, nearly 3 million students and their parents pass through offices in a very short time to obtain this certificate.
According to an address signed by Horațiu Moldovan, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Health, to the DSPs, the medical certificate for registration in the community is issued in the following circumstances, in accordance with the law:
- a) In the enrollment of each educational cycle – issued by the family doctor or the community doctor from which the child comes.
- b) At the end of a pre-university education cycle – issued by the doctor who supervises the community.
- c) After the student’s transfer to another school: he is discharged by the doctor who supervises the school from which he is transferred.

How is the medical certificate for registration in the community?
Family doctors had asked to renounce these certificates at the beginning of the school year, motivating that the wave of parents and children who will come to the office in a very short time increases the risk of disease for both children and the chronically ill who come to the family doctor.
