According to the announcement made by the authorities on Monday, they are exempt from the automatic quarantine measure “people arriving in Romania from countries / areas with high epidemiological risk, if they remain in the national territory for a period of less than 72 hours and present a negative test for SARS-CoV-2, carried out no later than 48 hours before entering national territory“.

People who arrive in Romania from the states provided in the mentioned list and go into quarantine for a period of 14 days can come out of quarantine after 10 days if they test for SARS-CoV-2 on the eighth day of quarantine and the result is negative.

Religious festivals, organized only with and for the locals

Another restriction concerns religious holidays.

It is allowed to organize them only with the participation of people who have their domicile or residence in the town where the activity takes place, without the participation of people / pilgrims from other locations.

At a contagion rate of more than 1.5 per thousand, teleworking is introduced or working hours are postponed

Likewise, a measure adopted this Monday obliges public and private institutions in towns where the incidence of coronavirus is greater than 1.5 per thousand “to analyze how to carry out the activity” in order to organize work hours at home / telework.

When this is not possible, it is recommended to postpone working hours, says the decision taken by CNSU.

The decision of the National Committee for Emergency Situations also obliges the Provincial Committees for Emergency Situations (and that of the Municipality of Bucharest) to hold an extraordinary meeting, in the next 48 hours, in order to analyze the epidemiological situation in each locality. and the emergency provision of measures to reduce the impact of risk “in accordance with the legal provisions approved by the decisions of the Government and those of the CNSU.”
