Customers of indoor restaurants, which open from September 1, must wear a mask when leaving the table. They are not allowed to drink or eat in the bar, and dancing will be prohibited, according to the draft rules for the operation of restaurants, published tonight.

“It is forbidden to move menus, salt shakers, olive trees and other objects from one table to another. They will be disinfected after customers leave the table and, where possible, disposable menus will be used. It is forbidden to consume products standing up, in order to minimize the circulation of customers within the unit ”, the document indicates.

Likewise, “the consumption of food / beverages in the chairs located at the bar is prohibited and the interaction of people standing is limited. Entertainment (dance) activities are prohibited within the public catering unit ”.

A maximum of six people can sit at a table, unless they are members of the same family.

Employees will wear masks and gloves and perform “observation triage” of customers entering the restaurant. Access to customers with “visible signs” of respiratory infection will be prohibited.

Approved / authorized biocide devices must be available for customers at the entrance of the restaurant, tables and restrooms.

In addition, restaurants should have one-way circuits for customers whenever possible.

When payment is made by cash register, plexiglass protection panels will be installed.

To ensure the distance, a table can be occupied and the next one will be free.

Meals will be completed by reservation or by registering at the restaurant entrance. At least one person at the table must provide their contact details, in order to facilitate epidemiological investigation in the event of a case of illness among local customers.

In the case of hotel restaurants, reservations can be made based on the room number where guests are staying.

Restaurant employees must wear a face mask and sanitize their hands before each service.

Meals will also be disinfected after the departure of each group of clients.

It is recommended to ventilate the rooms as often as possible, opening windows and / or doors, using air conditioning systems in case of heat.
