Cthe National Omission for Emergency Situations adopted at today’s meeting, November 20, 2020, Decision number 55. This decision updated the list of countries and areas of epidemiological risk for which the quarantine measure is established on the people who arrive to Romania.

Section 1.2 is repealed in art. 3 of CNSU Decision no. 54 of 11.12.2020, to people arriving from Denmark to Romania, all the exceptions to the quarantine measure provided for in the Decision of the National Committee for Emergency Situations n. 36, with subsequent modifications and completions. So far, none of the exceptions applied to other states have been allowed to those coming from Denmark.

Below is also the list of countries / areas / territories of epidemiological risk for which the quarantine measure is instituted for people arriving in Romania from them.

“Yellow zone”: quarantine at the declared address / place for 14 days:

  • Montenegro (Cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 inhabitants = 1,314.7)
  • French Polynesia (Cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 inhabitants = 1302.6)
  • Andorra (Accumulated incidence rate per 100,000 inhabitants = 1,277.3)
  • Luxembourg (cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 inhabitants = 1,195.2)
  • Austria (cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 population = 1,083.7)
  • San Marino (Cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 inhabitants = 1056.5)
  • Switzerland (Cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 inhabitants = 1028.4)
  • Georgia (cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 population = 1005.2)
  • Liechtenstein (cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 population = 984.9)
  • Slovenia (Cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 inhabitants = 939.8)
  • Czech Republic (Cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 inhabitants = 906.8)
  • Poland (Cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 inhabitants = 877.7)
  • Guam (Cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 population = 862.5)
  • Croatia (Cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 inhabitants = 837.7)
  • Italy (Cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 inhabitants = 798.5)
  • France (Cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 inhabitants = 778.7)
  • Portugal (Cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 inhabitants = 769.5)
  • Armenia (Cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 inhabitants = 757.9)
  • Lithuania (Cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 inhabitants = 741.5)
  • Jordan (Cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 population = 719.6)
  • North Macedonia (Cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 population = 718.2)

  • Serbia (Cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 inhabitants = 638.9)

  • Bosnia and Herzegovina (Cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 population = 605.2)
  • Denmark (cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 population = 254.3)
