Mugur Ciuvică spoke on DC News TV about what is happening at USR after the local elections.
“As for RSU, we have not seen big things in the last week. It has waned, the exuberance of the days immediately after the elections has leveled off. They also do not have the audacity to present themselves as big winners. In the meantime, they have appeared . and figures that are around 10% nationally, which is terrible, it was bad even when it was known that it was 13% compared to 20% last year.
Now I understand that they are at or even below the score they obtained in 2016. Which makes it difficult for them to position themselves in this winners area. Politically, they were by no means seriously strengthened after these elections. And I realize, but it can be small things, that the dissensions have started from within the party, I do not mean the fight that will be in the face, at some point, with NLP. Even within the USR, I’m not talking about the USR PLUS, all kinds of phenomena have started, which is good, because it means that not all the members of the USR are lined up on the same button. At least there are different buttons in USR, and each responds to its own button ”, explained Mugur Ciuvică.
