The incumbent mayor of Sector 1, Daniel Tudorache, told Digi24 that he and Marian Oprișan could find themselves on the PSD lists for the parliamentary elections, because they scored well in the local elections, although they lost.

Daniel Tudorache says that, given the score he obtained in the mayoral race, of 40%, the “direction” he sees is towards the parliamentary elections, where he will be registered on the PSD list for the Chamber of Deputies.

“If (the candidates for the local elections – ed.) Obtained a good result, even if they did not become mayors, it is normal. If they obtained very bad results, they certainly will not be found (in the lists of the general elections – ed. ), “Tudorache added.

Asked if the score obtained by Marian Oprișan for the leadership of the Vrancea County Council, although she lost, recommends that she be on the lists, Daniel Tudorache responds: “I think so, because the Vrancea organization will have a voice. My opinion is that they will find Oprișan. It is a personal point of view. They in Vrancea make the list, the president of the party approves it, but I think that will be the case ”.

He says the integrity criterion according to which a PSD member is selected to run for parliament is to have no conviction in court.

Thus, all politicians have criminal complaints. I think that every politician has 10 criminal complaints, that we have a national sport. That does not mean they are guilty. A court decides. Prosecution does not mean you are guilty. When he convicted you in the first instance, you can say that you are half guilty. Certainly we will not have any convicts on the lists in the first instance ”, explained the Social Democrat.

Likewise, he does not see the possibility of co-opting the route for these elections, as there are fewer PSD candidates.

“It just came to our attention then. We barely have enough space for our own. We will have fewer MPs than in the term that is ending.”

Tudorache specified that the Social Democrats are based on obtaining in the electoral elections of December 6 “at least the local score, of 31-33%”.
