Daniel Tudorache, PSD candidate for Mayor of Sector 1, stated that he is waiting for the Central Electoral Bureau to discuss his appeal on the images that appeared in public space with people who entered the room where the BES voting bags were one.

The Electoral Board of the Municipality of Bucharest rejected, on Sunday, the vote count in sector 1.

In accordance with the decision in this regard, BEM rejects as unfounded the PSD’s appeal to the previous decision of the Electoral Board of Sector 1 regarding the rejection of the request for a vote count in this sector.

Questions regarding possible electoral fraud were analyzed and rejected as unfounded by the Central Electoral Office, the document also states.

Regarding the appearance of information and images in the public space related to the storage and handling of voting bags, they are not within the competence of the Electoral Board of Electoral District no. 42 of the municipality of Bucharest, which will be analyzed by the competent authorities in this regard, is also shown in the decision.

The PSD demanded the counting of the votes and, later, the resumption of the voting in Sector 1, invoking electoral fraud, after images appeared in the public space with people entering a room where, possibly, the ballots are stored .

The Bucharest police and prosecutors from the District 1 Deputy Prosecutor’s Office have filed a complaint and are investigating two criminal cases.
