New partial results announced by BEC for the local elections, at 8:00 p.m.: Nicuşor Dan, an independent candidate supported by PNL and USR PLUS, obtained 42.79% of the votes for the position of Mayor General of the Capital, and the current Mayor, Gabriela Firea (PSD) – 37.98%. The data from the Central Electoral Office come after counting approximately 97.92% of the votes.
Third, Traian Băsescu, the PMP candidate, still has 10.98%, according to Agerpres.
Partial results by sectors
In Sector 1, the candidate supported by PNL and USR PLUS in the Sector 1 City Council, Clotilde Armand, remains in first place in the local elections with 41.03% of the votes, a difference of 1.25% of the PSD candidate, Daniel Tudorache, who has 39.78%, according to the partial data centralized by BEC, until Tuesday, at 8:00 p.m., after counting 96% of the votes.
In sector 3, after counting 97.52% of the votes, Robert Negoiţă obtained 43.78%, Adrian Moraru (PNL – USR PLUS) – 28.44% and Aurelian Bădulescu (PSD) – 13.72%.
In sectors 2, 4, 5 and 6, the data remained unchanged from 9.00.
Thus, in Sector 2, after the centralization of 97.55% of the votes, Radu Mihaiu (supported by PNL and USR PLUS) has 36.91%, Dan Cristian Popescu (PSD) – 31.50%, and Neculai Onţanu (ADER Alliance PPU-SL) – 14.06%.
After counting 98.09% of the votes, in Sector 4, Daniel Băluţă (PSD) obtained 57.03%, and Simona Spătaru (PNL – USR PLUS) – 29.88%.
In Sector 5, after counting 97.30% of the votes, Cristian Popescu Piedone has 28.08%, Daniel Florea (PSD) – 25.64% and Cristian Băcanu (PNL – USR PLUS) – 25.24% .
In Sector 6, where 98.12% of the votes were centralized, Ciprian Ciucu took 43.40%, Gabriel Mutu (PSD) – 34.56% and Ştefan Florescu (PMP) – 7.68%.
