Two days earlier, local authorities had signed a contract for the purchase of second-hand buses “to complement the routes affected by the road works.”
According to bzi.ro, a company from Ilfov County appears in the foreground, related to a single name, who appears to be the only employee.
Nature unleashed in Iasi
The storm flooded many streets in Iasi and traffic was rough for more than an hour.
CTP buses and trams were blocked in several areas, and people from Iași had to wait at stations for minutes.
“The routes through the Arcu, Metalurgie, Splai Bahlui Mal Stâng and Zimbru areas were severely affected.
The other routes less, but public transport was delayed due to traffic jams throughout the city.

Solo auction before and after the rain
Prior to this extreme weather event, CTP Iași acquired buses to complement the routes affected by the works carried out on the trams.
It happened two days ago, when CTP started the tender for the purchase of 21 used buses.
The procedure has a budgetary provision of 1,942,500 lei, without VAT, almost 400,000 euros. These will complement public transportation on the busiest routes.
A single bus will be purchased for about 20,000 euros. Only one company appeared at the auction, Ilfov County Bus & Coach Group SRL, controlled by Mircea Lucian Roșca, ”local journalists show.
According to the specifications, these vehicles must have an access ramp for people with disabilities, air conditioning, at least 3 access doors and have a pollution rate of at least 4 euros.
This is not the first auction between the parties.

The procedure was awarded by the company Bus & Coach Group SRL, which presented an economic offer of 297,600, without VAT, almost 63,000 euros.
According to the latest financial data, the Ilfov county-based company recorded an annual turnover of 437,195 lei, a profit of 106,308 lei, with a single employee.
