In the last 24 hours, 1,136 new cases were registered, of the 20,552 tests carried out. Authorities reported another 41 deaths after infection with the new coronavirus. Most of the new cases are in Bucharest, where 257 coronavirus infections have been reported, more than 20% of the cases reported by authorities.
The capital is followed by Ilfov, Brasov and Iasi. According to data provided by the Strategic Communication Group, new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in all counties of the country. The fewest people infected in the last 24 hours are in Giurgiu, Mureș Botoșani, Tulcea, Mehedinți and Călărași.
Between 07.09.2020 (10:00) – 08.09.2020 (10:00) there were 41 deaths (22 men and 19 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Bacău, Bihor, Bistrița -Năsăud, Botoșani, Brașov, Buzău, Călărași, Dolj, Galați, Harghita, Hunedoara, Iași, Maramureș, Prahova, Sibiu, Suceava, Teleorman, Timiș, Vaslui, Vrancea, Ilfov and Bucharest.
